Climate

The temperature in Ondo State throughout the year ranges between 21-29 degrees centigrade and humidity is relatively high. Climatic seasons are the same as in other states in Nigeria; that is Ondo also has the rainy season (April-October) and dry season (November-March).

The People

The locals in Ondo State are some of the most educated people in Nigeria, an average market woman in Ondo State is well informed and very warm to outsiders, taxis are priced reasonably cheap and English Language is widely spoken amongst the least educated in the State. It is a common saying in Nigeria that there is a professor in every family or household amongst the indigenes of the State. The people are known for their respected values of  integrity, justice and hardwork.

Ondo states boasts of some of the best hotels in the South Western Part of Nigeria. Accommodation is readily available and Cheap. There are so many Housing Estates in the State such as the Ijapo Housing Estate, Oba Ile Housing Estate, Shagari Village, Federal Housing Estate all in Akure. In Ondo town, you have the Funbi Fagun Housing Estate, the Ayotilerewa Housing Estate, Fawehinmi Housing Estates and many more estates in all the major towns of the state. There are also estate agents spread across the state and finding reasonably priced accommodation is very easy.
